Picture below taken at the Norse day at the Ace cafe on 27th November 2011. Not a lot of 1800's made the meeting with mine and friends Jensen car parked at the entrance and two ES in the car park, love the ES registration on the white car!

Pictures below taken at the 2011 Footman James Classic Car show at the Birmingham NEC. The P1800 50th Anniversary was the main feature of the Volvo stand, it was great to get the new P1800 book signed by the designer himself, Pelle Petterson! The VEC and the Volvo Heritage stand were excellent with a total of 9 of the 1800 range on show plus Kevin Price's Jensen built car on another stand.
One of the prototypes was on the Heritage stand, it was great to see this car close up to see all the elements of this car that differ from the production models.

The early Aston engined car was also on show.

Gordon Hunter's Saint replica and Kevin Price's actual Saint car were also on show.

Lastly there was convertible 1800E and a stunning one owner from new Jensen built car.

Pictures taken from the 2011 Goodwood Revival below, the car park for Tax exempt vehicles is well worth a visit on its own with a few 1800S dotted around.

Shame about the rain but great racing!

Pictures taken below at a classic car show in Eastern Creek, Australia showing several 1800's that were on a three day tour.

Anyone seen DSU 225 an early Swedish built car chassis number 6917? It was owned by one of us in the mid 80's with the Sunbeam Alpine HKX 913C shown with it, wonder if they still survive? Email us if you know anything.

Fellow enthusiast Nick has just purchased a fantastic 1969 1800S that had been residing in a collection in France. It is featured in the book Cars: Freedom, Style, Sex, Power, Motion, Colour, Everything by Stephen Bayley and as can be seen from the photographs below is in fantastic condition.
